Counting down the 12 things I'm incredibly grateful for. (In no particular order):Happy New Year!

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity and it can bring peace and create visions for tomorrow

Friend --

Beyond the titles, it's easy to forget sometimes that our President and First Lady are, when it comes down to it, regular people like us.

So I'd encourage you right now to enter our contest to do what few people will ever get to do -- not just have dinner with the President and First Lady of the United States, but have dinner with Barack and Michelle Obama.

Here's the link to throw your name in the hat for dinner with Barack and Michelle:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Barack-and-Michelle

This dinner isn't just some sweepstakes -- it's also a way to help build this campaign just days before our Republican opponents start competing in primaries and caucuses, and inevitably step up their attacks on the President and our campaign.

So make sure to enter before the deadline, and to spread the word to a friend or two -- if someone you tell about this opportunity ends up winning, I'd guess you'd be at the top of their guest list.

Thanks,

Julianna

A message from our President, Barack Obama

Friend --

Early this morning, the last of our troops left Iraq.

As we honor and reflect on the sacrifices that millions of men and women made for this war, I wanted to make sure you heard the news.

Bringing this war to a responsible end was a cause that sparked many Americans to get involved in the political process for the first time. Today's outcome is a reminder that we all have a stake in our country's future, and a say in the direction we choose.

Thank you.

Barack

What would happen if China decided to cash in their U.S debt securities?

China produces more than it consumes and ships the excess to the US. What dose this do to China's economy? Do we send them back other goods or services? Or, do we just incur more US debt? The Chinese economy continues to grow significantly and they continue to keep on producing.
Do you think that something has gone terribly wrong? Again, what do you think would happen if China decided to cash in their U.S debts securities which is currently around 1,160.00 BILLION. In addition, lets also look at other U.S debts securities the US owes: Russia,UK,Hong Kong,Thailand, ect.
