What's good for the goose (He's just a Hater)....

Stephen B. Yes, Roland is my guy!!!!!!! And as Mr. Neil Steinberg stated in the initial paragraph " that merit rules and we now live in a colorblind society where the lion cuddles the lamb, I would be proclaimed an idiot and rightly so."
And he sounds like an idiot......... Cheech...

Laws of morality
By eliminating rights that challenge belief systems, soon we won't have any

Were I to seize upon an example of African-American success -- say someone earning a Ph.D., or being named CEO, or one of countless instances happening every minute -- and claim it shows that racism is dead, that merit rules and we now live in a colorblind society where the lion cuddles the lamb, I would be proclaimed an idiot and rightly so.
So how is it that the exact opposite can occur unquestioned? How is it that any random act of possible racism, anywhere in the nation, is grabbed and held aloft by what passes for black leadership? That they are able to take any ugly incident that catches their scattered attention and pronounce it deeply significant proof that we are a nation of haters sorely in need of the redemption they are selling? That they could urge thousands of credulous followers to rush en masse to a rural backwater like Jena, La., population zero, and conflate a schoolyard mishap into a matter of national import? How can it be possible that a local laughingstock like Roland Martin can sit on CNN and condemn real reporters in the media for fixating on trivialities such as the war and health care while ignoring the earthquake in Jena?

Whenever some bigot refers to Jewish leadership, I laugh, because there are no Jewish leaders -- it would be like herding cats. Similarly, I don't pretend that the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world actually represent the complex reality of black America today. I don't pretend that. But they sure do. They may even believe it.
